Baristalog for iPhone and iPad

Privacy policy

About this policy

This policy covers Baristalog for iPhone and iPad, published by PX7 Digital (Jørgen Larsen). It does not cover the separate Baristalog website and its online accounts. Last updated: 15 September 2026.

Data in the app

Baristalog does not collect or transmit your personal data. It has no account, advertising, tracking or analytics SDK. The coffee library is included with the app and works offline.

What stays on your device

Favourites, reading progress, recipe checkmarks, appearance preferences, saved brew settings and notes, and the current brew are stored locally on your device. They are not sent to PX7 Digital. Device backups may include this information according to your Apple settings.

Timers and notifications

If you allow notifications, the app schedules local notifications on your device for brewing timers. These are not sent from a server. You can turn notifications off in iOS Settings. Delivery and sound follow your device settings and Focus modes.

Deleting local information

You can remove favourites, reset recipe checkmarks, delete saved brews and end the current brew inside the app. Deleting the app removes its local data; offloading the app keeps its data. Manage any retained device backups in your Apple settings.

Purchases and Apple services

Apple handles the App Store purchase and download. Baristalog does not receive your payment details. Apple may process purchase, device or diagnostic information under its own privacy policy and your settings, independently of the app.

Support and external links

Opening a support or privacy link takes you to a website in your browser. Website hosting providers, including Cloudflare, may process technical request information such as your IP address to deliver and protect the page. These support and privacy pages contain no analytics scripts or advertising. If you email support, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include. Do not send passwords or payment details.

Support correspondence

PX7 Digital uses support messages to answer your request and resolve problems. Correspondence is kept only as long as needed for support, related follow-up or applicable obligations. You can request access to or deletion of your support correspondence by emailing jorgen@aekko.com. The app itself gives us no access to your locally stored notes.

Changes and contact

Policy changes are published on this page and included with a future app update. For privacy or support questions, contact PX7 Digital at jorgen@aekko.com.
